The BLD Project is:
An abbreviation for the Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Project, which began in March 2009 as a 3x daily blogging endeavor organized loosely by posts on what I ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (With a slight reprieve on weekends.)
As you can probably guess, turning out original content 17x a week, on top of my full-time job, quickly took its toll. So in Summer 2009, the BLD Project transitioned to a lighter format that features only the noteworthy food encounters — thereby trimming out the more repetitive and mundane posts (and preserving my sanity).
The BLD Project isn’t a diary of what I eat so much as it’s reflection on why, where and how I eat: at home, in restaurants, at work, on the go. This is a normal person’s food blog, albeit a normal person who also happens to write about food and culture professionally. (Clips page coming soon).
I’ve never been the runner type, so this is my personal marathon. Welcome to the race. To contact me, email: info (at) theBLDProject (.) com.

I was just plain tickled to see my (very humble and impromptu) appetizer spread on my computer screen. You write so well that even plain food sounds fascinating.
